Strabane U3A is preparing for a new season of activities.
Several of the group’s most popular activities are already underway including drama, walking club, bridge, an art session at the U3A House in Lower Main Street and the choir. The weekly Sunday afternoon social and craft meetings in the House and monthly get together by Dining Club members are to start soon.

The weekly painting classes held at the former Technical College have ended, but Committee members have been having talks about the possibility of starting a Recreational Art Class at the same venue for 15 weeks. This would be in addition to the regular Art Class held each Monday morning in the U3A House under the tuition of Bridie Bradley. Other classes under consideration are dancing and aqua fit.

The Committee has reluctantly had to increase the membership fee to £20 (£30 for a couple).
