Teenager streaker told to stop drinking
A Strabane teenager has been warned to keep his alcohol consumption level under control after he was found naked and severely intoxicated in a football field at the weekend.
A concerned passerby rang an ambulance for the 18-year-old man after she saw him stumbling around the 'Meadows' football pitch, close to Bradley Way roundabout with his trousers tied in a knot around his legs and his clothes scattered across the grass.
A PSNI spokesperson said that police received a report of suspicious activity on the football pitch at 7.45pm on Saturday, 3rd of May by an anonymous caller.
An ambulance had to be called for the young man, however no complaint was made to police.
PSNI officers warned the youth to keep his alcohol consumption level under control to prevent a similar incident occurring again.
It is understood that paramedic checked the man over at the scene and released him into the care of his mother without any treatment.
It is unknown if the man took his clothes off himself due to his drunken state or they were taken off him by a group of youths who had also been drinking in the field.
