The forthcoming Legenderry Maritime Festival will see a village festival set up along the river’s edge from 10am to 10pm daily.

Queens Quay will be transformed into a summer promenade centred around a vintage style marquee throughout the festival, which runs from June 21st to 29th.

Food and drink outlets will be setting up alongside local market stalls and a new vintage fairground.

There will be a main stage showcasing local music, storytelling and comedy, as well as an array of exhibitions and heritage collections in a special marquee. People can learn more about the Rivers Foyle and Faughan, take part in an archeological dig or other environmental activities. There will also be interactive nautical zones, workshops, and activity centres and a new Ocean Exploration Learning Zone from Titanic Belfast.

The Maritime festival will celebrate the arrival of the 12-strong Clipper fleet.
