The event will begin at 11a.m. in conversation with Dominic and conclude with a round table networking afternoon. Individuals working in or interested in creative and positive provision for the elderly can address specific issues and meet in a friendly social setting to work towards a better understanding of creative ageing.

“This event will be a chance for anyone involved or interested in inspired provision for the older generation to get together and share good practice, exchange ideas, and network,” said Liam Campbell, community relations officer at The Playhouse.

“From 2006 to 2013 Dominic led ‘Bealtaine Festival’ a groundbreaking celebration of creativity in older age transforming it into one of Ireland’s most significant annual events.

“Dominic has been a member of the Department of Justice and Arts Council of Ireland exploration of ‘Cultural Diversity and The Arts’ advisory group and was a cultural representative on the National Economic and Social Forum ‘Futures Ireland’ initiative.
