Join the queue and tear strips off Seamus

A Derry nurse says it's time to get rid of the hairy jumper and will be at the mercy of the public on Saturday night as he gets his chest waxed for charity.

Seamus Crossan from Star Running Club is fundraising for the Foyle Hospice ahead of this year’s Great North Run.

On Saturday night in Quays Bar, in a charity event in association with Muckers & Co. Barbers, he will have his chest completely waxed.

Macho Seamus reckons he’s man enough to cope with the pain and is asking as many people as possible to come down at 8 p.m. on the night or donate through the club’s Justgiving page at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Star-Running-Club

Those at the bar on the night can get their opportunity to tear strips off Seamus in person.

Come along on Saturday night (June 18) and join in the fun.

Seamus and a group of his teammates will run the iconic half marathon, the Great North Run on Sunday 11 September and at the same time raise money for local charity, the Foyle Hospice.
