Derry playwright Brian Foster will be holding auditions in the Millennium Forum tomorrow, from 2pm onwards to find a talented actress in the 25 to 35 age group to join his group of regulars for a trio of forthcoming plays in Derry.

Derry playwright Brian Foster will be holding auditions in the Millennium Forum this Saturday, 14th June, from 2pm onwards to find a talented actress in the 25 to 35 age group to join his group of regulars for a trio of forthcoming plays in Derry.

Brian said: “I have a small group made up of the very best local actors from which I tend to cast my various plays. This group now needs the addition of a terrific actress in the 25 to 35 age group to do a play in October of this year, another play in May of next year, and possibly a third play in November of next year. All plays will be staged in the Millennium Forum, and all roles will be paid. So this will be a great opportunity for someone seeking to advance their career in local theatre. I’m hoping to find someone with real talent from Derry, Donegal or surrounding districts who can take directions and who can work as part of a team. The successful person will need to be free to rehearse from the last week of August right up to the third week in October. Open auditions will begin at 2pm Saturday in the Diamond Room of the Millennium Forum. So auditionees should get there to register from one o’clock onwards. I am happy to email the performance piece for the October play in advance should anyone interested in attending wish to contact me at wbrianfoster@gmail.com introducing themselves and giving details of any experience to date. Or you can just take your chance and turn up on the day.’
