Next up for the Gordon Gallery in Derry is an exhibition of batik paintings by Bernadette Madden, the internationally-known Dublin artist whose work has been presented to two Popes.

‘Town and Country’ will be opened by Professor Karen Fleming of the University of Ulster at a private view on Friday night, from 6pm to 8.30pm. The exhibition continues until Saturday March 24th.

In a career stretching over more than four decades, Bernadette Madden has exhibited throughout Ireland and abroad, including Australia and the US. The works in tis show can be seen on the gallery website, www.gordon-gallery.com
