Summer dancing at Studio 2

Bringing the urban dance vibe to Derry this week, community dance project Streetfeet are hosting their outstanding summer dance school from Studio 2 in Skeoge Industrial Estate.

Registration for the school kicks of tomorrow (Monday) from 12noon -2pm when one of the North West’s leading dance choreographers and creator of the Streetfeet dance movement, Irena Melly, will host a registration workshop for young dancers of all ages to come and find out about what the summer dance sensation programme has in store. “This summer’s dance programme will offer a brilliant opportunity for young dancers to explore and develop their talents and performance skills, learn new moves, meet new friends whilst having great fun and keeping fit,” said Irena.

“With classes running on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of each week including special classes designed for 3-5yrs, Street Feet Juniors 6-12yrs and Street Feet Seniors as well as introduction classes with some of Irelands leading professional Dance tutors in Modern, Tap and Ballet Dance this year’s brilliant dance programme at the newly refurbished Studio Two dance studio will offer an outstanding opportunity for local dance enthusiasts.”
