The largest light festival on these islands, Lumiere, comes to Derry at the end of the month - and promises to be spectacular.

A version of the festival drew around 150,000 people into Durham over four nights in 2011,. Durham is having another Lumiere next weekend which could bring in even bigger crowds.
Nicki Webb, co-director of Artichoke, the company producing the show, says Derry can expect 17 fascinating installations throughout the city, with light shows projected onto buildings, remarkable neon creations and a fire show at St Columb’s Park.
It’s all happening over four days, starting on Thursday 28th November and ending on Sunday 1st December.
