A news report that Dungiven X factor star Eoghan Quigg has been offered a spot on Channel 5’s celebrity Big Brother has been dismissed.
The teenager starred on the ITV reality talent show, The X Factor, placing third in the final in 2008.
After the show, the Dungiven lad toured with Irish hit band, Boyzone, and released his debut album. After that, he returned to his studies.
A weekend newspaper report suggested the former St. Patrick’s College student had received a “big money offer” from Celebrity Big Brother. However, yesterday, Eoghan’s mother Denise dismissed the report.
“There is absolutely no truth to it at all,” she said. “I don’t know where that has come from. It’s weird.”
