Nina Kraviz is currently the name on everyone’s lips in the house and techno community and will play St Columb’s Hall as part of Celtronic 2012 on Friday, June 29, alongside Steffi (Panorama Bar-Berlin), Psycatron (Planet E-Bedrock) and a host of local talent.
Celtronic, Ireland’s leading electronic music festival, will take place across the city from Wednesday, June 27, until Sunday, July 1.
Very rarely does a DJ/Producer shoot to stardom so quickly - and when they do, they seldom have the talent to back it up. Moscow native Nina Kraviz is the exception to the rule. Her talent for both making and playing the most sublime underground house music has seen her become one of the most in-demand artists of 2012.
Nina Kraviz’s breakthrough hit, ‘I’m Gonna Get You’ was released in 2009. Following the success of this release, the gigs started to come thick and fast, and by the end of 2010, Nina could claim to have played the major clubs across the globe – mixing her unique raw blend of House, Techno, Acid and rare goodies, much to the punters’ delight. Her eponymously titled debut album on Radio Slave’s Rekids label was released to critical acclaim earlier this year. Nina is currently on a massive world tour to promote the album. Advance tickets for Nina Kraviz, priced £12, on sale at www.wegottickets.com, Nerve Centre Box Office and Masons Bar.
