We want you to get involved in our haunting Halloween coverage and show the world why Derry is the best place on the planet to be at Halloween.

We want you to share your pictures and videos to bring our Derry Halloween Live page to life.

Already we’ve got lots of Halloween stories, videos and essential info on the page as we build up to the city’s biggest and most frightening night of the year. And this weekend via Derry Halloween Live you’ll be able to share your Halloween pics, tweets and videos

Show us how you are celebrating - we want to see pictures of your houses decorated, and pics of you, your friends and family dressed up for the occasion. If you’re having a party at home, or are out the town, if the kids are trick or treating, or you’ve carved a pumpkin masterpiece - even if your dog’s in a costume - share the moment with us.

We really want to show the world those Halloween costumes, those firework videos, those pics of you and your family enjoying the city’s Carnival atmosphere.

It couldn’t be easier to get involved - if you are on Twitter use #scaryderry in your tweets, or tweet us @derryjournal

Facebookers can share via www.facebook.com/derryjournal and you can email us via editorial@derryjournal.com

We’ also be hosting the council’s live stream of the Carnival parade on our live page, so if you’re not in town you won’t miss out - let’s make this the year we show the world how Derry does Halloween
