Derry’s foremost club of comedy returns this Thursday for another instalment of its cracking 2014 line-up.

Each month the club endeavours to bring some of the best names from the local, national and international comedy circuit to Derry. This month they have a hat trick of great acts for your delight this month.

Headlining this month is the wonderful Robbie Bonham. Robbie has wowed crowds in Derry in the past as part of The Big Tickle Comedy festival and is a Masons’ favourite.

Robbie is one of the strongest performers in the Irish comedy circuit and performs regularly at Dublin’s Capital Comedy Club, The Comedy Cellar and Laughter Lounge.

He has supported the likes of Doug Stanhope and Brendon Burns and also won 98 FM’s ‘Best Comedian Award.’ He’s been voted the Capital Comedy Club’s best support act, was in the final of the Bulmers Comedy festival for the second year running and has headlined the Empire in Belfast, played the Kilkenny Cats Laugh, Edinburgh Fringe and so much more.

If that wasn’t exciting enough support on the night comes from two thirds of the recent “The Whinge, The Geek & The Nordie” sell out show at Belfast’s Out to Lunch festival. Masons’ firm favourites Ruaidhri Ward and Lorcan McGrane will be make a welcome return to the city. Their fantastic brands of cynicism and nerdism, self-love and murals will have you rolling in the aisles.

Your host for the evening will be ginger bearded wunderkind Peter E Davidson who will be bringing his usual skills of both good time keeping and decent personal hygiene to keep things rolling along nicely and fragrantly. Doors are at 9.00. The show is from 9.30 - 11.30 and entry is but a mere £5 and comes complete with a free shot. The night is of course followed by fantastic music downstairs by the brilliant THUMPING JELLYFISH. Come for the comedy, stay for the aquatic battering.
