Hollywood giants, Warner Brothers, have revealed that Derry’s Brunswick Moviebowl is officially No.1 in Northern Ireland for Superman’s lastest incarnation, Man of Steel.
Movie-buffs have been flocking to the Moviebowl to see the blockbuster - which re-imagines the story of the last son of Krypton (Henry Cavill) and brings it bang up to date for the 21st Century. The new movie revisits the storyline of the original Superman movies to see the Man of Steel battle it out with the dreaded General Zod to protect humankind.
Caoimhin McClafferty, Operations Manager for the Brunswick Moviebowl, told the ‘Journal’: “Warner Brothers confirmed on Monday that Brunswick Moviebowl is No.1 in Northern Ireland for both the 2D and 3D Man of Steel, so we’re absolutely over the moon! It really is the biggest and most anticipated movie of 2013.”
Man of Steel is showing at the Brunswick Moviebowl now.
