A travelling postcard exhibition of young artists’ work labelled|: ‘From somewhereto_ With Love’, is making its way to Derry later this month.

180 original postcard-sized artworks created by talented 16 to 25 year olds from nine cities – Derry, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Huddersfield, Nottingham, Poplar/London and Wakefield - will showcase a range of media including drawing, painting, printmaking, photography and digital print, graphic design, illustration and collage.

The young artists will have the opportunity to exhibit in their hometown of Derry and the chance to exhibit with other artists from around all over, providing professional artistic experience, exposure, a sense of community and peer-to-peer networking.

The exhibition will take place in Legenderry Warehouse No. 1 from Friday November 20 to Sunday November 22.

The event is a U.K. wide project, funded by a £7m grant from the Big Lottery Fund to support its nationwide expansion to September 2016. somewhereto_ offers 16-25 year olds the free space in which to boost their skills and unlock their potential, through participating in creative or entrepreneurial endeavours.
