Altnagelvin has 2.39% capacity left; total COVID-19 occupancy at Derry hospital still low at 2.69%

One more person - a woman in her 70s - was admitted to the Derry hospital with coronavirus yesterday.
At midnight on Tuesday 17 people were being treated as coronavirus inpatients across all Western Trust hospitals.

Hide AdJust two of 10 (20%) ICU beds at Altnagelvin were being used to treat COVID-19 patients; six (60%) were occupied by patients with other conditions and two (20%) were free.
Five ICU patients in total were being ventilated - two were COVID-19 patient and three were non-COVID-19 patients.
In terms of general occupancy 2.69% of beds at Altnagelvin were ‘COVID-19 occupied’, 88.36% were ‘other occupied’ and there was 2.39% capacity left in the system; 6.57 % were ‘awaiting admission.’
There have been no further deaths.
