'Significant amount of illegal drugs' taken off Derry streets, says PSNI

A 'significant amount of illegal drugs' has been taken off the streets in Derry over the past 24 hours according to the PSNI.

The force said it arrested a man in Galliagh in suspicion of possession.

"Within the last 24 hours, Ballyarnett Neighbourhood have arrested a male in the Galliagh area, for Possession of class B, intent to supply and being concerned in the supply of class B. As a result a significant amount of illegal drugs have been seized and taken off the streets," the PSNI said in a statement.
