“All the evidence and experience clearly shows that choosing bilingual education is a very positive step for the child, the family and the community they come from so we would urge parents to consider Irish medium education for their child, even if they don’t have Irish themselves. Parents of preschool children will have to apply online to the Education Authority for a preschool place to start in September 2023. The online registration opens on January 10, 2023 and closes on January 27, 2023.

Póla added: “Before making a decision on where to send your children for their preschool education, we would encourage all parents to come along to Naíscoil Cholmcille on Wednesday, November 30 at 1pm or 7pm to experience at first hand the excellent facilities that will be available to their child as they start out on their educational journey.”
