TIMES GONE BY: 6 retro pics from Derry and Inishowen - July 1997
In July 1997 Derry City recorded an historic competitive 3-2 victory over Glasgow Celtic in the Irish International quadrangular tournament in Dublin; a painting by Buncrana octogenarian Mrs. Kathleen Grant was given to President Mary Robinson at Áras an Uachtaráin; as ever the ‘Journal’ photographers were doing the rounds.
