One of Derry’s most talented singer-songwriters, Declan McLaughlin, will perform live in the Scullery in Waterloo Street tomorrow afternoon.
The event is supported by Apex Housing Association’s House in the Wells, which promotes alcohol free entertainment.
“It’s a nice time to be performing,” said Declan. “Hopefully there’ll be a good crowd at the gig.
“I am also delighted the House in the Wells are supporting this gig,” he added.
Fellow singer-songwriter, Jack Craig, will also perform a short a live set.
Declan, who last year released an album with The Hi-Flats, toured solo all over Ireland with revered Irish singer-songwriter, Damien Dempsey.
Declan capped off 2015 with two performances at the Other Voices festival in Dingle.
Declan said he will be playing a number of songs from the last album and some from his new album which is due for release later this year.
The show starts at 5:50pm and will be over by 7:00pm, so come early as numbers are limited and admission only costs £1.
This will be the first of a number of solo performances by local arts at the city centre cafe.
