Free screenings of Gerry Anderson film all over the city

A film written and narrated by the much-loved broadcaster Gerry Anderson will be screened in five community venues across Derry from November 17 – 26 as part of BFI and Film Hub NI’s Britain on Film season, in association with the Nerve Centre and Foyle Film Festival.

A City Dreaming was described by the late BBC presenter as his ‘love letter’ to the city.

The feature-length documentary is a series of personal and intimate recollections of Derry and its people.

All of the screenings are free and will take place in the following venues: today at 7pm, St. Brigid’s College; tomorrow at 11.30am in Irish Street Community Centre, Waterside; Thursday November 19 at 12pm in Hillcrest House, Gobnascale; Thursday, November 19 at 7pm in the Hive, Rath Mor Centre; Thursday, November 26 at 2pm in Rosemount Factory.
