Well known local Irish folk singer songwriter Danny McGilloway, who has worked with among others, Christy Moore, Francis Black, Dolores Keane, The Dubliners and Paddy Reilly, will launch his latest painting exhibition ‘The Wild Child’ containing landscapes of Donegal.
His modesty fails to agree with his work but it has been said of his previous exhibitions that the public found them quite pleasing to both the eye and the heart.
There’s a rich tone of creativity pulsing through his work to wet the art lover’s appetite.
“Mind you, I never found myself to be a Van Gough while growing up but at the same time I have the pleasure of having one over on him in that I sold my first painting,” he said.
The exhibition will be launched in Eden Place Arts centre, Pilot’s Row on Thursday, October 20 at 7 p.m.
The exhibition can be viewed Monday from 10.30 a.m. - 3.30 p.m., Tuesday to Friday 10.30 a.m. - 5.30 p.m. until Thursday, November 3.
All are welcome to attend the exhibition.
