Advice and outreach centre opened at Cornshell Fields

Apex and the Resource Centre Derry (RCD) officially launched their new advice outreach clinic in the Community Space in Cornshell Fields, Derry on Monday 4th July.

This new service will enable Apex tenants to avail of the invaluable services offered by RCD at this convenient location within the middle of their housing scheme.

Melissa Cooke, RCD Outreach Worker will be available every Monday in the Community Space to give advice on Welfare Reform and help with completing benefit applications.

Jude McKinney, Manager of the RCD’s welfare rights service said: “Through collaborative working, we can use the experience and expertise of both RCD and Apex in their respective areas of social security and housing for the betterment for the people of Cornshell Fields.”
