A cook at Altnagelvin Hospital has won a top prize for her lemon meringue pie.
Sandra Rosborough won first prize in the lemon meringue category in the Northern Ireland Branch, Hospital Caterers Association (HCA), Salon Culinaire Annual ‘Bake Off’.
The competition was hosted on October 14 at Knockbracken Healthcare Park, Belfast.
Congratulating Sandra on her success Sonia Gormley, Support Services Manager said: “We are delighted that Sandra has been awarded first prize for her delicious lemon meringue in this highly competitive category.
“Sandra is a very talented cook and this award is recognition of her hard work and skills. Our cooks are dedicated to providing high quality and nutritious meals to patients, staff and visitors in our hospitals every day of the year.”
