Appeal after masked men enter property in Limavady - three arrests made

Police are currently investigating an aggravated burglary that occurred at a residential premises in Glenmore Gardens, Limavady.

Detective Sergeant Gallagher said: “It was reported at approximately 11.30pm on Sunday 9th October, entry was gained to a residential premises by a group of masked males.

“Considerable damage was caused to the ground floor of the premises, but no one was injured. Three males were arrested in relation to the incident. One of them has since been released unconditionally and the other two males have since been released on bail, pending further police enquiries.

“We are appealing to anyone who may have any information or to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to contact detectives at Coleraine Reactive and Organised Crime on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 46 on 09/10/16.

“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
