Arts Centre gets in the frame

The Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre / Ionad Ealaíon agus Cultúir Ghleann na Ró is delighted to be partnering with Belfast Exposed Photography on the delivery of an exciting new education programme.

The programme will introduce young people aged 7-14, to photography as an art form and will give them the skills and opportunities to be creative with their own projects, while also building lasting relationships with their local art centres.

Participants will gain an important understanding of the ways of taking photographs, reading images and understanding photographic representation of ourselves and our society.

The programme is free of charge to schools, and will be delivered by Rachel Cassidy; Northwest Regional Coordinator for Belfast Exposed Photography.

For further information on how to participate, please contact Mervyn Smyth; Community Engagement Coordinator at Belfast Exposed, on 028 9023 1009 or email Mervyn at;

Programme run with kind support from the Prince’s Foundation for Children and the Arts and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
