Big lotto win for Conor and John

Congratulations to Conor and John Beattie, Croragh, Culdaff who won the Carrowmenagh Football Club Lotto Jackpot of 3,600 euro last Sunday. The winning numbers were: 2, 9, 15, 22. The next draw will take place this Sunday, March 27 with a jackpot of 1,000 euro.

Applications for free Pre-School places are now available from Donagh Creche, Carndonagh for September. This is a free year for children aged between 3years 3months and 4 years 6months. CETS places are also available for children aged 6 months and upwards (Government funded childcare for adults undertaking FAS/VEC training courses). Baby and toddler places also available. Free “Winning New Opportunities” programme comes to Clonmany: WNO is a 20-hour training programme that helps people who are unemployed to access new education, volunteering, enterprise, and employment opportunities. Topics covered by the specially-trained WNO facilitators include: identifying one’s own skills, strengths, and interests; finding openings in areas of interest to participants; effective interviewing techniques; application form, CV, and cover letter writing; networking for opportunities; and dealing with obstacles and set-backs. The programme will take place at the Clonmany Resource Centre from Monday, April 11 to Friday, April 15 for four hours per day.
