Blaze being tackled at former school site
Firefighters are continuing to tackle a fire at the site of a former secondary school in Derry's Waterside this morning.
The blaze at the former Immaculate Conception College on Trench Road is understood to have been started deliberately at around 5am this morning.
Twenty-five firefighters and five fire appliances have been attempting to control the fire.
Concerns have been raised over absestos in the buildings.
The school was closed in June, 2015 and demolition work began in May this year.
