The people of Derry have been invited to attend a fundraising night in aid of the Children in Crossfire Malaria fund, taking place in the Bowling Alley on 29th September at 7.30pm.
The theme for the night will be black and white and a meal and a game of bowling will be provided for each team. Attending the evening’s festivities will aid the Children in Crossfire in their efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of childern in Tanzania and Ethiopia who suffer from malaria. During their trip to Tanzania in January 2010 approx. 60,000 people die each year from malaria, 80% of which are children under the age of 5yrs.
The money raised will go directly to where it is needed and on preventions such as malaria nets, medicines, education and welfare of the children.
So come along and support the Children in Crossfire by indulging in what promises to an evening of fun and light entertainment.
