Macmillan Cancer Support is calling all brave and fearless walkers for the North West to take part in a charity walk with a difference in Strabane.
The charity will be holding their first ever Midnight Bra and Boxer Walk in the town on June 3, the only pre-requisite to taking part is that you come along wearing a bra or boxer shorts!
Walkers will be gathering from 11.30pm at Strabane Town Hall Car Park for registration before the walkers set off at midnight shaper for a three mile saunter around the town.
Liz England, Senior Macmillan Nurse said: “If you have a bra or boxers, why not come along and have a fun night out while at the same time supporting cancer patients and their families in the Strabane area.”
If you would like to take part phone Josephine on 07519624906 for more information or a sponsorship form. Registration will also take place on Friday, May 6 at Lisnafinn Community Centre from 7-8.30pm
You can also register on the night at a cost of £5 per person.
Paul Sweeney, Area Fundraising Manager, said: “It promises to be a great night out with loads of freebies for everyone. Your support will make a big difference to people living with cancer in the Strabane area.”
All funds raised through the Macmillan Bra and Boxer Walk will go to help Macmillan Cancer Support and Action Cancer to extend their services in the local area and therefore allow the charities to support more cancer patients and their families.
