East Derry Sinn Féin Assembly candidate Cathal O’hOisin has welcomed the start of work on the installation of ‘superfast broadband’ into homes in the Roe Valley.
Mr. O’hOisin said the service is being delivered to homes in the Limavady, Ballykelly and Greysteel areas, describing it as “good news”.
Mr. O’hOisin said: “The start of this work will mean that in the coming months a large section of the population in this area will have an increased and improved broadband provision, and this will be good news - both for business and domestic users. It will also mean a discontinuation of the much slower and less reliable cabinets. I hope that the rest of the area will be considered for this, as soon as is physically possible, and that everyone can enjoy and use superfast broadband.”
