More than 80 new jobs have been announced for Derry this morning by Insurance giant AXA.
The jobs announcement follows the relocation of a number of roles from AXA’s Dublin base.
The company have said that over 80 new roles will now be created at their Customer Contact Centre of Excellence in Springtown Business Park.
The roles will service AXA customers throughout the Island of Ireland supporting the company’s customer service, claims and sales operations.
A spokesperson said: “AXA are looking for enthusiastic and friendly people who can provide great service for our customers. Full training, flexible shift patterns and a competitive salary will be offered.
AXA Insurance has operated at the Derry Customer Contact Centre since 2007. AXA’s journey here began with twenty staff and has expanded year on year, providing employment locally for over two hundred staff. Following a review of the business processes, AXA decided in the interests of efficiency and customer service to consolidate more of its customer facing operations in the Derry Customer Contact Centre. These new opportunities confirm AXA’s commitment to this site.”
