Local businesses are being encouraged to enter this year’s Derry ~ Londonderry Business Awards.
Now in their seventh year, the Awards celebrate excellence in; service standards, business practice, people development and entrepreneurship.
Jointly hosted by the City Centre Initiative and The local Chamber of Commerce this celebratory business event will award 13 awards.
The categories for this year’s awards are: Entrepreneur of the Year; Excellence in Customer Service; Innovation Award; Best Tourism Initiative; Best Night Time Economy; Outstanding Professional Service Award; Healthy Workplace Award; Best Large Business; Best SME; Tourism Services Award; Digital Award; Promotion of Arts & Culture; and Money Exchange Business of the Year
Jim Roddy, Chief Executive, City Centre Initiative said “Now more than ever we feel it is important to reward the local businesses who are the life and soul of our city. The unwavering dedication and immense work which is done on behalf of the city by our business community is something we should all be proud of, these awards are the city’s way of saying thank you to the business community.”
Sinead McLaughlin, Chief Executive of Derry Chamber added: “We are seeking a high number of applicants for each category.
“We would encourage businesses to see this as an opportunity to reflect on their success, acknowledge their team’s effort, to measure your performance and to create positive PR by differentiating your business.”

You will then receive a nomination form.
Applicants must provide a brief profile i.e. products, services and markets which details why they should win award and supply supporting documentation as given in the Category. Applicants may enter as many categories as they wish.
