City Cabs achieves two quality standards

City Cabs continues on its journey of excellence by achieving two industry accredited standards for quality. The award of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 represents City Cab’s commitment to best practice as the company leads the way in becoming the city’s first ISO quality accredited taxi service.

James Deehan Director of City Cabs explains why theses accredited industry awards are important for business.

“Our recent significant investment in technology, resources, systems and training has strengthened our taxi business. These accredited awards recognise our progressive commitment to continuously improving the services we offer”.

Quality Standard ISO 9001 and IS0 14001 represents an industry best practice for companies who have a focus on customer care and excellence. It demonstrates City Cabs continued investment in policies and systems to support the effective operation of their services for local customers. It includes a bespoke quality and environmental policy, monitoring of services and resources, staff training along with regular audits to ensure our quality and environmental standards are maintained.

City Cabs has the largest fleet of PSV registered taxis in the region and has served the community for over 40 years. It provides 24 hour operator managed services. It also has accreditations for Investors in People and is one of the very first World Host recognised businesses in Northern Ireland. City Cabs is the official taxi company for City of Derry Airport and strategic partners of Visit Derry.

James concluded “We are proud of the quality standards we have achieved and our ongoing commitment to excellence in service to the city and region”.
