Colr. Ramsey said that there has been major issues at the Waterside Park over recent days , as he added his voice to condemnation of other episodes of anti-social.

“Alcohol in our public places is definitely becoming a major, major issue and hopefully in the future we can look into how we can enforce bye-laws and not have parks used as drinking dens.”

Colr. Ramsey was speaking at a Council meeting on Thursday, during which Sinn Fein Councillor Kevin Campbell outlined other episodes of anti-social behaviour over recent days. Colr. Campbell condemned an attack on Dove House on the week they were celebrating 30 years of service to local people, as well as a “disgraceful attack” in which paint was thrown on a lady’s home in Creggan.
