Organisers of Limavady’s Stendhal Festival of Art have opened the application process for musicians to apply to play at what will be the fifth year of the event.

Taking place at Ballymully Cottage Farm on August 7 and 8, 2015, the Festival has already played host to performances from the likes of The Undertones, Paddy Casey, The Divine Comedy, Frightened Rabbit, Turin Brakes and more.

Event Director, Ross Parkhill says the team is eager to hear from acts of all kinds.

“We really look forward to the submission process every year,” he said. “There are always hundreds and hundreds of fantastic acts to listen to. Whether it is discovering something totally new or being reminded of more familiar artists, it is always one of the most fun and enjoyable aspects of putting together the festival.”

Ross added: “We are looking for acts of all kinds as we continue to promote a multitude of genres by acts from all over Ireland, the UK and further afield.”

Ross said the festival prides itself on finding and highlighting local talent that has maybe flown a little bit under the radar of the general public, so applications from anyone and everyone are being welcomed.

Log on to, fill out the submission form. The process closes on Saturday, February 28.
