Car bomb investigation: Four men released unconditionally

Four men arrested as part of the investigation after a car bomb detonated in Derry’s city centre at the weekend have been released unconditionally.

The men, aged 42, 34 and two others aged 21, were arrested on Sunday by detectives investigating the explosion at Bishop Street on Saturday night.

Police confirmed on Monday night that the men have now been released.

A 50-year-old man arrested on Monday remains in custody.
