Charity auction in Feeny

A Feeny man is hoping signed sports items, including a set of framed boxing gloves from Paul ‘Dudey’ McCloskey, will raise lots of money when they are auctioned off at an event this weekend for Foyle Hospice.

Sean O’Kane from the village has been working hard over the past six months to organise the event with Anne Simpson.

Scheduled to get underway at The Sportsman Bar on Saturday night, May 12, from 8.30pm, the auction has a number of items up for grabs.

Among the sports items are a signed Celtic jersey, a signed Crossmaglen jersey and a signed Loughiel jersey, each framed. There are also other items including a signed snooker cue from former world champion John Higgins. There are also a number of other items to be raffled, including vouchers for meals and beauty treatments.

Anyone needing information about the event should contact Sean O’Kane at 07788998853.
