Charity walk for cystic fibrosis trust tomorrow

A special walk of the two bridges will take place tomorrow, Saturday, September 10, in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Organised by the family and friends of Derry man Damian Canning, who had his life cut short by Cystic Fibrosis (CF) in December 2007, the walk will leave Sainsbury’s car park at 1pm tomorrow and span the Peace Bridge and the Foyle Bridge. Energise Gym on Strand Road are sponsoring the event will raffle amazing prizes. Turn up early tomorrow to register before the walk. Registration costs £5 and all money raised will go directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, who provide funding for vital medical research to lengthen the lives of those with CF. If you knew Damian personally, or indeed if you just want to help this crucially important cause, see you at Sainsburys car park at 1pm tomorrow! Light refreshments will be provided.
