Derry choir Cantamus are hosting a table quiz for Children in Crossfire in the Collon Bar tonight (Thursday) to help with the charity’s work in developing countries.
Since it was established by Richard Moore in 1997, Children in Crossfire has continued to go from strength to strength. It is now an international organisation working at home and aboard to protect and promote the rights of some of the world’s most vulnerable children.
Richard Moore – who has been accompanying Nobel Peace Laureate and exiled Tibetan Leader the Dalai Lama on his third visit to Ireland - believes that collective action can make a difference.
Mickey McDaid of Cantamus will be quizmaster on the night. Tickets for the table quiz are priced at £5 (includes a light supper) and payable at the door from 8.30 pm. Quiz starts 9 pm.
With plenty of spot prizes up for grabs throughout the night, the Cantamus charity table quiz promises to provide an enjoyable evening’s entertainment.
