Concern’s Annual Scalp Walk is taking place this Sunday beginning at 3pm. The starting point is Henry McLaughlin’s farmyard and the route will be clearly signposted from Burnfoot. The walk is over a 2.5 mile concreted road, enabling walkers to wear comfortable shoes. Please support the group and help the group’s work in Africa by giving a small donation. Fr McGoldrick and Fr Sweeney would like to thank those who helped in any way with the recent First Communions - in the homes and schools, in the preparation of the Churches, both inside and outside, in the ceremonies and in the provision of refreshments.
The dates for the Blessing of the Graves are as follows: Fahan: Sunday, 24 June at 3.00pm; Burt: Sunday, 1 July at 3.00pm; and Inch Sunday, 1 July at 6.00pm.
The Lourdes Hospitalité annual collection will be taken up at Masses next weekend, Saturday 9th / Sunday 10th June. This provides medical care and support for people of the Diocese who are sick and wish to go to Lourdes on the Diocesan pilgrimage.
