The Colgan Heritage Committee are hosting a table quiz in Simpsons Bar, Tulnaree, Carndonagh next Tuesday, 28th February at 9.30pm with quizmaster Gerry. Plenty of prizes to be won. Everyone welcome. Proceeds in aid of the third Colgan Heritage Weekend which takes place this year from Friday 29th June to Sunday 1st July.

Carndonagh Community School Fundraising Ceili in Aras on Friday, 2nd March, music by Duntally Ceili band. Admission 5 euro including supper, Tickets on sale in Dohertys (Fintans) Carndonagh. The fundraising project this year is an extension and upgrading of the catering facilities in the Aras. It is hoped to have the project completed by August 2013 for the 40th Reunion Celebrations which will take place during the August Bank holiday weekend.
The Blood Transfusion Service is coming to Carndonagh Community School on Wednesday, 7th March from 3-5pm and 7-9.30pm and Thursday, 8th March from 2-5pm and 7-9.30pm your support will be appreciated. Arthritis Ireland Inishowen support group will commence on Tuesday 28th February in Carndonagh Community Hospital from 7.30pm to 9.00pm. For people of all ages who either have a form of arthritis or are caring for a person with arthritis.

The Annual General Meeting of Carn Tidy Town took place recently. The outgoing chairman, Mickey McClure, thanked everyone who helped in any at all during the previous year in our efforts to keep Carn tidy.
