Hatmore man and reality TV contestant, Conor McIntrye, avoided an almost immediate exit from the Channel 5’s Big Brother house on Friday evening - much to the delight of his family and friends.
It had been an emotional few days for the 24 year-old fitness instructor. Having entered the famous reality TV show on Tuesday evening, Conor was immediately nominated for a shock eviction alongside Lydia and Victoria. But Conor was saved, thanks in no small way to his family and friends, who this week littered Derry city centre with posters and flyers urging people to support him.
Housemate Victoria was instead evicted having received the least votes.
Conor was seen whooping and cheering when ‘Big Brother’ announced he had in fact won most votes in the public phone-in.
This news was, as our exclusive pictures prove, greeted with even more delight in the McIntyre household than the Big Brother one!
