Members of the public are being invited to attend an event in the Guildhall on January 26, to mark Holocaust Memorial Day.
The event starts at 10.30am on the 26th, the day prior to the official Holocaust Day on 27th and will continue through to lunchtime, and will include lunch. It will be held in the Guildhall’s Whittaker Suite.
Organised by Derry City and Strabane District Council’s Community Relations Section, the reflective event will give attendees the opportunity to consider those affected by the Holocaust and subsequent genocides.
The theme for this year’s Holocaust Memorial Day is ‘Don’t Stand By’.
Booking in advance is required and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Bookings can be made by phone, email to Niamh.firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 028 71253253.
