£1,700 worth of heroin seized in Derry

Police have seized £1,700 worth of heroin in Derry's northern suburbs.

A quantity of cannabis has also been confiscated.

One person has been arrested.

The PSNI said: "Ballyarnett Neighbourhood Policing Team on patrol followed their gut instincts and conducted an arrest and house search, finding approximately £1,700 of heroin and £235 of herbal cannabis."
