Accused of drugs offences

A 28-year-old man has appeared in court accused of a number of drugs offences.

Robert Heaney, whose address was given on court papers as Gregg Street, Lisburn, was charged with possessing ecstasy, cannabis and diazepam with intent to supply.

He was further charged with being concerned in an offer to supply drugs and simple possession of drugs.

The 28-year-old was also accused of possessing a baton in the Duke Street area of the Waterside on January 6.

He was released on bail to appear in court again on July 7.
