A 23-year-old woman has admitted assaulting two paramedics.

Danielle Sweeney-Lawlor, of Robert Street, pleaded guilty to two common assaults and assaulting police.

She admitted further charges of disorderly behaviour in the Butcher Street area of the city and resisting police officers.

The charges relate to an incident on December 21.

Derry Crown Court heard the 23-year-old is in breach of a suspended sentence for similar offences.

Sentencing was adjourned for a probation report and the court was told there was no objection to Sweeney-Lawlor receiving bail.

She was released on her own bail of £500, ordered to abide by a curfew and banned from consuming alcohol. She must also attned her doctor for help with addiction issues.

Sweeney-Lawlor will appear in court again on January 30.
