A man who was involved in a fight in the city centre has been fined £250.
Kevin Barry McClintock, of Asylum Road, pleaded guilty to disorderly behaviour on October 25, last year.
The local court heard the 31-year-old was seen fighting with another man in the Shipquay Street area.
Police separated the men and McClintock was arrested.
Defence solicitor Paddy MacDermott said his client initially acted in self-defence but then ‘accepts he went beyond that’.
