Gang breaks man’s leg in Derry city centre assault

A man has had a leg broken after being assaulted by three men in Derry city centre.

Police say the assault took place at around 11.30pm on Friday night ( June 28) in Harvey Street.

“The victim was left with a broken leg after being attacked by three men who are described as follows: Shaved head at the sides and long on top, 6 foot tall, heavy build, clean shaven, mid twenties, leather jacket, shirt, jeans and trainers, curly short dark hair, clean shaven, approx 5 foot 8 inches, heavy build, jeans and black t-shirt, mid twenties and mid forties, short neat dark hair, heavy build with a beer belly, blue jeans and t-shirt,” a PSNI spokeswoman said.
