Intended to steal from church

A man charged with entering the estry of St Columb’s Church, Chapel Road on April 9 this year with intent to steal, has had the case against him adjourned until October 14.

Miguel Ramos of Heron Way denied the charge of entering the chapel vestry with intent to steal when he appeared at Derry Magistrate’s Court last Friday.

The 40 year-old also denies interfering with a vehicle at Chapel Road on the same date.

The case has been listed for contest on October 14 however it will be reviewed again on September 21.
